1. Open Netscape
  2. Select Edit/Preferences in the menu bar
  3. Then double click Mail & Newsgroup in the Preferences Window
  4. Next choose identity under Mail & Newsgroup
  5. Goto Identity and place your name and your EMail address(userID@bdol.com)
  6. Goto Mail Servers
  7. In Mail Servers, goto the incoming mail section
  8. Click on the ADD button and place in server name, server type, and user name (NOTE: Your UserID is the part of your email address before the @ symbol. For example, if your email address is Name@bdol.com, then Name is your userId. Your server name is the part after the @ symbol. Using the same example the bdol.com is the server name)
  9. Click OK when done filling in the information.
  10. Next in Mail Servers, goto the outgoing mail section and fill in your server name and user name (NOTE: if you do not understand what the server name or what the user name means, see the note above regarding how to setup incoming mail
  11. Finally, click OK in preferences to get out of preferences and use your email.
